This dress has not been hemmed or altered at all, so if you need to take it out or tighten it up - you can! It was the perfect length for me (I am 5'11 in 2" shoes) but I am sure most brides have their dresses hemmed. It was PERFECT for my big day!! It flowed out so great so I didn't need to worry about getting bloated or how I would look in pictures with my tummy poking out. The pockets were so fun and great to put lipgloss etc. It flared out beautifully and had a nice enough train to help me make an entrance when walking and look fancy enough in pictures. There are classy buttons all down the back (pictured). It has a fun split down the middle to let some air in for your summer wedding and show off your shoes. I mostly had the slit closed so you couldn't see my legs in pictures, but I included a picture here so you can properly see the slit. The ivory color looked great on my skin (I got a spray tan). It has been professionally dry cleaned and looks BRAND NEW. Hope you love it as much as I did!
