The Dress

Absolutely adored wearing this dress. Classic, elegant and beautiful in its simplicity but still comfortable and so flattering. It's easy to move around in, dance in, and is also very easy to put on and take off.

The radiant Macpherson is a modern twist on a traditional ball gown. Featuring a full skirt of luminous Mikado silk, creating a classic a-line shape. Macpherson's corseted bodice features a square neckline with wide straps to bring timeless, contemporary sophistication.

ORIGINAL SIZE PRE-ALTERATIONS: Standard 4
FIT: Fully structured bodice with wide straps, full skirt – custom made without side split.

FABRIC: CHOSEN by KYHA exclusive mikado silk with a lightweight lining.
COLOUR: "Natural" – a soft white that is complimentary with pretty much anything. It’s not a Bright White (which usually throws quite blue/purple) nor is it an Ivory (which is quite yellow/creamy).

FASTENING: Centre back zipper (invisible) and custom extension of buttons to continue below waist.

Alterations

Alterations by the Kyha recommended tailor ‘La Couturier Alterations’ in Sydney.
– Bodice taken in – my bust is 83cm and waist is 71cm.
– Straps shortened slightly.
– Dress hemmed - my height is 170cm and I wore 6cm heels on my wedding day.
– Added bustle.
– Button loops not re-added for ease of taking on/off – buttons decorative only.
