The Dress

Newhite Brooklyn in beautiful condition, worn during my wedding on May 11th. The main fabric of this dress is a thick crepe that has a great smoothing effect, with a silk organza sleeve and bow at the chest. I’ve sold my overskirt and veil already, so they aren’t included in this listing. The first and last photos show the actual dress from my wedding day. In the first picture I am wearing it with an overskirt and veil, and in the last pic I am wearing it with a veil. The 2nd and 3rd designer photos show how it looks alone, without the overskirt and veil.

Condition —
The dress has been professionally cleaned following the wedding, although there is a little bit of pilling on the underside of the front hem, probably where my shoes rubbed against the hem. I'm happy to share more photos via DM if you'd like.

Sizing —
I am normally a size XS with a 32A/30B bra size, and a size 25 in high waisted jeans (sitting at my natural waist). The designer size is labeled as a 2. All of the measurements listed are my actual measurements provided by the bridal shop owner. I bought my dress and had all of my alterations done at The One Bridal in my hometown of Brooklyn, NY, but this designer is also carried at Lovely Bride and Loho in LA.

The size 2 fit perfectly in the waist but needed to be hemmed to floor length at my height of 5ft 6in with shoes, and taken in by 3 inches at the bust. When taking in the bust, my seamstress sewed all the excess fabric into the seams of the dress so that it could be easily let out afterwards to its original size. Once all this fabric is let out, this dress could easily fit someone who is a 32B or 34A. The hem was actually cut, so you wouldn't be able to extend the length of the dress. A bustle has been added with a single hook inside the center back of the dress. If you have any questions about sizing, don't hesitate to reach out.

I will ship the dress in its garment bag with tracking to any address within the continental United States. Feel free to ask questions if you're not sure about delivery. If you are in the NYC area you can come and try it on in person.

Alterations

- Dress has been hemmed to my height with shoes (5 foot 6 inches).
- Bust has been taken in at the sides, but all the extra fabric was sewn into the dress and can be easily let out.
- A bustle has been added with a single hook inside the center back of the dress.
