Allure Bridals, 9013-IV-12

This dress was and still is my dream dress. I wasn’t getting married at the time, my godmother who was terminal breast cancer wanted me to try on wedding dresses for fun (she was very sick and I’m the only girl in the family). We ended up a Mimi’s bridal at a trunk show and we both fell in love with this dress. It hasn’t been altered, never truly been worn (just tried it on and that is it), and it’s been in storage ever since. My godmother passed and I held onto this dress because it meant a lot to both of us. As much as I would love to keep this gorgeous Allure Bridal dress (never altered), I’m also a single mom and know this dress would serve better to someone else who holds the bead work and absolutely beautiful meaning of this dress to heart. The dress is a piece of art, it isn’t heavy, it has a bodice, nothing has been touched on the dress. It’s a beautiful train, not too long, not too short. I truly want this dress to go to someone who understands the meaning and beauty of this dress.

My godmother and I had a very close bond, she loved this dress because it reminded her of butterflies during a sunny day, the bead work and design was angelic in her eyes.
