Selling my beautiful Milla Nova Vara wedding dress, a stunning designer gown that originally retailed for over £2,000 and is now discontinued, making it increasingly difficult to find.

This dress would best suit a UK size 12–14 and features a little flexibility in fit thanks to the elastic button loops and slight give in the illusion mesh. Please refer to the measurements below for the most accurate sizing.

This romantic gown features an illusion off-the-shoulder neckline, a deep sweetheart bodice, intricate floral lace appliqués, delicate pearl and crystal embellishments, and a beautifully flowing layered tulle skirt with subtle sparkle throughout. The soft nude illusion mesh creates a striking contrast that allows the lace detailing to truly stand out.

One of the most spectacular features of this dress is its dramatic cathedral-length train, measuring approximately 95 inches (2.41 metres) from waist to end. The train is adorned with floral lace appliqués that flow seamlessly through the skirt, creating a breathtaking effect both in person and in photographs. The natural train length from the hem measures approximately 68 inches (1.73 metres). The train can also be buttoned up for the evening, allowing for easier movement while still maintaining the gown’s elegant silhouette.

The skirt consists of 8 layers, creating wonderful volume and movement. I wore it with a large hoop underneath for extra fullness, but it can be worn with or without a hoop depending on your preferred look.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is ready for its next bride.

As expected with a gown featuring such a long train, there is some light wear to the underside and hem of the skirt from normal use on the wedding day. This does not detract from the overall appearance of the dress when worn. There is also one small elastic loop at the base of the button fastening that has snapped; this is very minor, not noticeable when worn, and could easily be repaired if desired.

The button fastening is secured with elastic loops, providing a little flexibility in fit, and the illusion mesh also offers a small amount of give.
