My size is actually a half size special ordered from the UK as a 15. I am an 8-10 in the US for pants and usually a large or medium top. I typically wear a large in dresses but sometimes medium. Measurements listed are accurate to myself and the dress. You can see actual photos of me in the dress as well. I chose to not have the buckle on the front of the belt as you will see in a lot of the stock photos of this dress. I went with a plain band which I wound up liking very much. You could easily put a lace or jeweled belt over it. The front does have a slit, and I had a hook and eye installed to close it up a bit for the ceremony but you can unhook it and keep the slit higher if you want. Dress also has pockets and I had a bustle installed. 3 buttons on the back. I am 5'5 and wore a 3.5 inch heel. You can see in the photos where the dress hits the ground. I did not need to wear a bra, spanx, or any special underwear with this dress and I wore it for the entire reception comfortably!
