The Dress

Handmade Leona Gown size XS/0. Color: Pearl. Stretch cady off the shoulder gown with extended tulle overlay. Squared neckline accented by draped high tulle, long sleeves lightly bound to narrow satin ribbon straps. Center back external zipper and soft internal bustier with grosgrain waistband belt and three hook positions for support.

Composition: 80% Acetate, 17% Viscose, 3% Elastane
Lining: 95% Silk, 5% Elastane

I absolutely love this dress and hope that someone else may wear it and love it too vs. it sitting in my closet. It’s so comfortable and easy to dance in and lift your arms in! There are elastic attachments under the armpit that allow for easy movement. It was very important to me that I could dance / move comfortably when picking a wedding dress. The fabric also has some stretch which allows for a better fit. It also includes an internal bustier so you don’t need to wear a bra and the fabric is thick enough that you don’t need to wear shape wear! It’s beyond comfortable.

This is a true size 0 with minimal alterations except for the addition of a lower back and option to bustle. The length was not altered - I am 5’7” and wore 5” heels. The dress can be easily hemmed or altered if needed. There are no stains or flaws with the exception of a tiny hole in the bottom of the slip which is unnoticeable when on. This was professionally dry cleaned right after the wedding and is being stored properly.

My height is 5’7” and my weight is 122 lbs and I typically wear a size 0/2. This dress fit perfectly and required no tailoring for fit reasons.
