This BHLDN Square-neck Stretch Crepe Dress was the perfect affordable wedding dress!

Flattering square neckline, supportive straps, and tasteful (but a little sexy) slit to above the knee. It was comfortable to move, sit, and dance in. It was the exact look I wanted (at a fraction of the price), and I hope it will be the perfect classic dress for another bride or a base for adding fun accessories to make it super special. I had a floral cape for the ceremony and a sparkly veil for the reception, and I tried it with some detachable sleeves, which looked great (and would make it work well for a fall/winter wedding). It would also be a beautiful second look or legal ceremony dress.

It was worn once for my wedding in June 2024 and was sold by Anthropologie for $297 (+ import fees to Canada). Alterations

It is an XL, and I had minor alterations made to make it more fitted in/under the bust while keeping it loose in the stomach/body
I shortened it slightly but kept it long to have a bit of a train look
I am 165 cm and wore 3.5-inch heels before switching to flats (picture 4 I am in flats)
I also had small loops put in on the underside of the straps to hold my cape
They are not noticeable if left unused
