This is the Karen Willis Holmes Catalina dress in size 10. It is very flattering with an A line tight bodice and asymmetric skirt with a hidden high split.
The dress was ordered to include elegant covered buttons on the bodice instead of a lace up back. This proved to be the perfect choice as there was no need for me to hitch the dress at any stage during the day.
The train is the perfect length and has 3 loops and ties underneath to lift it to just above floor length for dancing (see photo).
Alterations were only a small adjustment to the bodice (to ensure it was tight and wouldn't move) and the dress was hemmed (cost $500).
It has been professionally dry cleaned (cost $700).
