I purchased this, altered the bust and hips to my measurements, and did not alter the hem of the gown (however, I used a top-notch bridal seamstress and she left all fabric intact, preserving the gown so that you can let it out back to the original measurements). I decided to go a different route for our wedding day and won't get to wear this gorgeous dress after all.
