I loved this gorgeous Carolina Herrera Gertrude guipure lace gown. It was a dream to wear it.
I had it professionally dry cleaned and preserved by Jeeves in New York. It is still in the preservation box.
Condition

Alterations
- Professional alterations were made by the seamstress the Carolina Herrera atelier recommended in New York
- The hem was shortened slightly (I am 5' 9" and wore 3.5" heels)
- A French bustle was added
- It was taken in slightly (1/4") at the waist
- An internal strap was added for additional support with 3 options for how tight to hook it (I asked her to add this, it was really nice not to worry about the dress sliding down while dancing)
- 1" was added to the bust by adding a second button for the back ribbon to attach to (the original was kept)
