I bought this dress at my Anthropologie fitting and loved it but wanted to shorten the sleeves so I took it to an alterations store who charged $1,000 to make the following changes - so I paid a total of $2,500 for this dress and never wore it! I shortened the train, shortened the sleeves, and added some of the beautiful scalloped lace and a zipper on the back so you can see your back but it is not overexposed. I also added some of the lace scalloping around the neckline for a more feminine touch and took some fabric off the shoulders to make it fit better and not slide off my shoulders. I never wore this gown. Also it looked better on me without a bra. It is lovely, classy, and elegant!
