The Dress

Overview:
Anthropologie's Veronique dress is absolutely gorgeous. It's a free-spirited mix of classy and whimsical. Fit and flare with hints of tulle and delicate and varied floral embroidery, this dress has not been altered, aside from tan bust support pads added by a professional tailor (no need for a bra! I am a 30C-34B in bra sizing.) Only being worn once, it is well-made, artistic, and unique - worth every penny.

Sizing:
This dress is a 0P. It is designed to fall at the natural waist. Because I am 5'5, it falls a little higher on me.

Comfort and Fit: 10/10
There is no boning, no itchy-ness. This dress is completely soft throughout the inside and comfortable to move around in. It was so comfortable I didn't want to take it off in the store.

Color and Details:
Being true to color - a pure ivory - this dress is lined with a chiffon-like layer and cloaked in a sheath of floral embroidery. In one of my photos, I hold up one side with both the inner layer and floral sheath, and in the other hand I'm holding up simply the sheath alone. The full train is stunning and has some weight to it; the way it moves reminds me of water (where by comparison, tulle skirts move like clouds). It can be tricky to tell details from photos, but there are no sequins or sparkles on this dress (personally, I tend to be anti-sparkle!) and it does not have a "sheen" to it. I fell in love with the thin layer of tulle that subtly lines the plunging v-neckline.

I would love this dress to go to a lady who adores it as much as I did! I felt incredible in this dress. As far as flaws go, this dress has a couple very minor threads along the hemline that are loose. It has 1 or 2 small wear marks on the inside of the inner layer. It has been dry cleaned, and the inside tag is present. Please feel free to reach out and ask my any questions you have. It can be difficult to make a decision online from photos/video! If you purchase this dress, you will also receive the original BHLDN bag it came with. Veronique is a romantic, stunning gown and will make you feel like a bride.

Tan thin bust support/coverage pads have been added by a professional tailor! No need for a bra with this dress.
