I am usually a US size 4 and the measurements used to make the dress overseas are those measurements mentioned above. The dress was very comfortable and I was almost " swimming in it" since I lost weight (and was a size 2 when I wore it) prior to wedding and did not alter to dress to fit snug.
hips are 37.5" but are very flexible as the dress is an A line and narrowest at the waist and loose below this. I did ask the designer to add a liner to make sure the dress is not completely see-through and that worked out wonderfully while keeping the original charm of the dress. I wore it in July outdoors haha. So it is not hot at all. It is the most beautiful thing I ever laid my eyes on. Simple Cathedral Veil included (simple as to not take away from the glorious train that is attached to the dress itself, which is non detachable). I am 5'4 and wore 6inch heels so the dress skirt length is 45-46 inches.
