Alexandra Grecco Prisma 100% Silk with Satin finish. Made in NYC. Designer split size 8/8/10.

This real silk dress has a satin finish, and the sumptuous fabric is like liquid— it is out of this world. It is considered white by the designer but to the eye it is a flattering off-white. I added AG satin buttons in the back and wore it with a second-hand AG Signature Cathedral Veil that I’m happy to place in the box for whoever purchases this dress, so you’ll get that as a bonus, too. I will ship the dress in its AG garment bag and Lovely Bride box. The dress is heavily discounted to account for very minor snags in a couple of places and a nearly imperceptible tiny drop of colorless liquid on the neckline. When I put the dress on the dress form to take pictures, I didn’t notice it at all—only when I inspected the fabric inch by inch. Don’t miss your chance to wear AG on your wedding day!

Alterations

For alterations we added Alexandra Grecco silk satin covered buttons to the back
We hemmed the front to 5’10” and added a bustle
Waist was taken out as much as it would allow, (30”) and the straps had to be shortened but they were not cut, so all the extra length is still there

We also removed the lining (but only under the train) so that when it bustled it was lighter weight and draped beautifully
There’s a little more room in the hips than 40.5 too — at least 1-1.5”
So if your hip dimensions are 41-42 it should fit
It wasn’t tight on me like a mermaid gown
