My stunning 'Lou' gown was designed by the talented Kyha Simpson of One Day Bridal.
This dress was made to measure (handmade) in an ivory guipure lace.
It is a simple slim fit style with v neck, spaghetti straps and a low back.
The lace is cut directional to create contours on the body and the long train is a knockout; the fabric an amazing texture and a real feature of the gown.
The stretch underlay ensured maximum comfort throughout the day. Also practical, it has a small hook to wear over the wrist (to lift the train) and also two buttons underneath which I used to bustle at the reception. It has a single zip closure at the back and built in cups.
I am approximately size [removed]cm tall and an B cup. I wore 10cm heels in most of the pictures shown here.
Given the stretch underlay fabric this dress could easily fit a size 10-12; it would also be quite simple to alter to a smaller size.
The perfect gown for a relaxed, yet elegant wedding. It suited our bohemian beach-side celebration perfectly and whilst it was not overly traditional and 'bridal' (which was exactly my request) it was still the single most incredible dress I have ever worn.
I honestly felt stunning in pure comfort for the day.
Worn once on my wedding day and professionally dry-cleaned at Syndal's Bridal in Melbourne.
