The tulle is VERY light and soft, not like the classic scratchy tulle. The liner is a blush tone. This dress was hemmed to fit my height of 5 feet 7 inches (I wore Birkenstock sandals). Cups were sewn in and some extra flowers were added to the base of the bodice. These could easily be removed in alterations to get to the original style. Other than these alterations, no other changes were made to the dress.
