Genuine unique and whimsical Kensington skirt by NY wedding dress designer Carol Hannah. Beautiful original champagne over blush coloured draped linen ballgown skirt. Fabric is light and airy open weave linen. Under layer has netting with a silk/satin layer for shape. Very light and comfortable to wear.
Skirt is unaltered from original size. I preferred to keep it slightly longer than floor length with the lovely short, asymmetrical train. For reference, I am 5’10 and there was at least 2 inches in front that could be removed/shortened. I added 2 temporary hooks at the waist to cinch it a bit tighter. These have since been removed leaving the skirt in it’s original size.
It is a very versatile skirt. I paired it with a lightweight strappy ivory silk top and a pretty handmade beaded sash that tied at the back. I received so many compliments!
