This is an ivory crepe dress by Mikaella Bridal. The dress style is originally called the “Charlize.”
I purchased this dress and had it altered for my wedding, however we ended up changing our venue and the dress no longer suited the style of venue, and decided to sell it to another gorgeous lucky bride! I have never worn this dress, it is brand new, however I had minor adjustments and alterations made to the dress.
I had thicker straps built from the excess fabric at the bottom of the front of the dress after getting it altered for my height.
I had the dress taken in at the bust, waist, and the hem- the exact measurements of the dress to my body are listed above! I am 5’4 or 162 cm tall and had the dress altered to hit the floor in shoes that are 3.5 inches or 9.5cm heel height.
The dress is in perfect condition as it has never been worn, however I am sure could use a nice dry clean/steam to freshen it up since it has been altered.
The dress is fully lined and has 2 layers of fabric. The lining is a soft satin fabric so feels incredible on the skin and the top layer of ivory crepe is in a matte crepe fabric.
The bodice has beautifully placed pleats across the chest and waist, and has fabric covered buttons that run all down the back of the dress to the bottom of the train.
The dress has a cathedral train, but can be shortened if that do not want it that long. It also is easy to create a bustle to make it shorter for dancing!
