The Dress

Absolutely gorgeous and original dress but still very elegant with an almost whimsical feel.

The Vega gown has a bodice fashioned from a beautiful soft fabric embroidered all over with iridescent sequins, which catch the light in magical variegated colours. The flared flounced sleeves are cut at three-quarter length to flatteringly show off the wrists, and are left sheer so the skin can be glimpses through the sequins.

The plunging low back of the dress is controlled by silk organza straps arranged in a starburst, and the skirt fastens with an invisible zip. The lustrous 100% silk satin skirt is cut very full to fall from the waist in folds, and extends into a chapel train at the back which can be carried around easily with the internal wrist loop, or tied out of the way for dancing.

Please note this dress has a concealed zip at the back but due to the straps going on over the head. As long as you got someone to hold it up while you crawl into it this is not a problem.

A very comfortable dress, I was actually newly pregnant come the wedding but still felt it was very flattering and not tight on the baby bloat at all. There is no built in bra as this would change the carefree silhouette of the dress but I used 'perky pears' and found them to hold my D cups fine.

The dress has not been dry cleaned so is slightly dirty on the train but i imagine that will easily come out with dry cleaning and a slight marking on the inside of the neckline.
