Guillermo Couture, Custom Made

Manhattan-based Guillermo Couture custom made this one-of-a-kind gorgeous ivory satin dress based on a red carpet photo of Angelina Jolie in Randolph Duke at the 1998 Emmys.

The unique beauty of the dress comes from two key features:

1. A built-in bustier with detailed beadwork that zips beneath the sheath, ending high on the rib cage. The sheath is designed to slightly fall off one shoulder to highlight the bustier -- but please note the wearer can adjust that side strap (via a casual gesture or a safe variety of clothing tape) either on, slightly off, or totally off the shoulder. The totally off look gets the most wows for sure. Also has 2 x Bra inserts that cannot be seen.

2. Mirroring the beaded theme of the bustier is an "undershort" type garment encasing the bride's leg so that it can come completely out of the high slit on one side. These delicate and perfectly designed undershorts CANNOT be seen through the fabric - ONLY the side slit (please see associated photos). It's a feature that is beautiful, unusual, and somehow a little "sneaky" -- like a surprise as you walk!

Waist: 26 inches (I wore it 27 inch waist)
Hips: 36 inches

In wonderful condition other than 2 tiny snags shown in the photos, however, these are not noticeable!
