I absolutely loved my Mariana Hardwick dress:) it was a dream to wear! It is the famous Chantelle, bought from Mariana Hardwick in Melbourne. I wore it just did the church ceremony as I had a second dress for photos and the reception. It’s in beautiful condition.

I bought the standard size 14 as it fit perfectly when I tried it on. I lost a little weight and had the waist taken in slightly and the skirt hemmed. I’m 159cm and wore around 7cm heels, I asked the dressmaker to leave a large turn up in the hem so it can be lengthened for taller brides:)

I’m a size D bust and on my wedding day was around a 77cm waist circumference. This dress is so supportive and really holds you in and makes your waist look small. I think it would fit a larger Australian size 10 to a small 14. The bust has room if you have a bigger bust as well. It really is the most flattering dress and it was the only one that my mum and bridesmaid cried when seeing me try on! It will be hard to see it go but I am happy another bride can enjoy it :)
