This dress is absolutely stunning, and was only worn for about 3 hours. It’s timeless and classic style, and the combination of the beautifully constructed corset and stretch satin fabric means it fits well to the body, making it flattering for every body shape.
The Nova Cora takes inspiration from the seminal Vivienne Westwood archive Cocotte silhouette. It features a sculpting corset, with reduced drapery around the neckline and across the hips to create a cascading asymmetrical train at the back.
The dress is in its original measurements and has not been altered, except for the addition of an American bustle which could be easily removed. The gown nevertheless has a wristlet at the train which can be used when dancing.
