This Dress is made from 100% Silk Chiffon (allot of it!) and 100% Silk Haboti and 100% Silk Charmeuse for Lining(matching color) so it is not see through. This Dress is Build of off a bustier and then the fabric is gathered on the Bustier, hand sewn and pleated on the Bustier. The skirt is Very full! There are allot of panels of chiffon sewn together and hand gathered around the waist! Very full~ That is why the price difference from other gowns...Hook and eye closure in back, like a bustier with zipper over the bustier. This dress was originally bought at Tatyana Merenyuk (Brooklyn NY) Slight restorations where made to make the dress look as good as new and it has been dry cleaned. I also closed the slit.
