This was the dress I pictured getting married in as a little girl. I wanted to look back 20 years from now and think zero regrets for getting this dress. That's why I spent the pretty penny as well.
The big white A-line dress with the long train; something clean, classic, traditional with a feminine touch of the belt to the detachable bow in the back. It fit like a glove and it was so functional. I felt like I was drifting throughout the room at the wedding reception and all eyes were on me.
Unfortunately, I married the wrong man, but I will never ever forget saying yes and wearing this dress.
She has clear marks of wear and tear, as the evening was very festive. I am just now pulling it out of the bag after 7 years (IYKYK). But, with really good dry-cleaning, I know it can give another girl the same sort of feeling on her big day without paying designer prices.
