The Vivienne Westwood Nova Cocotte in Heavy Silk Satin is a gorgeous off the shoulder, corsetted a-line gown. The corset and neckline are inspired by fashionable high society women of the 18th-century – which sweeps across the shoulders and cinches at the waist. The skirt falls from the hip in a soft slim A-line, folding and flowing delicately to create a drape reminiscent of ancient Greek statues. The fabric is a pearl white heavy silk satin fabric.
This dress is timeless, so flattering, comfortable and easy to move around in. I wore it once for my wedding day for 8 hours and then had it dry cleaned! It's in incredible shape!
