This dress was made as a UK size 10 then reduced and taken in to fit a size UK 8, 5ft 6/7, height, with dress length to suit reasonable heel size. I have added my measurements above so this dress could be taken in further if you are smaller than these measurements.
Gorgeous mikado fabric, sweetheart neckline with medium train (see pictures), with detachable shoulder straps - I wore these straps during the day ceremony and took them off for the evening, and tucked in the dress train. This ties fold at the rear of the dress, so I was able to dance easily. This beautiful dress has deep pockets and a sexy split on the left side. I am a 32D bra size and did not need to wear a bra as the dress fully supported me and fitted perfectly. I did wear fit tape to feel secure, although the dressmaker said this wasn’t necessary.
Dress was £2,300 new, purchased from Silk in Lichfield.
The split makes this dress very sexy and modern. I felt amazing wearing it and able to show off my shoes.
I married on a dry summer’s day and have had the dress professionally cleaned so is in excellent used condition. No marks or damage.
