The train is pretty substantial and has a loop to hang on wrist for convenience. I felt like an elegant princess and got so many compliments! Dress was worn for a city hall wedding and a photoshoot- maybe 4 hours total. No wear and tear and dress has been professionally cleaned.

Alterations

The straps on this dress were awkwardly close to the armpits so the straps were moved to be ~5 inches from the armpits (in a much more natural spot) and shortened to be ~5.5 inches from shoulder to where it connects with the dress
Distance from strap to strap is about 12 inches
The dress was also hemmed to be just brushing the floor while wearing flats (I'm 5'6")
From armpit to the front hem is about 54 inches
