Nardos Imam, Custom Made Bridal 23 (from Spring '24 Collection)

This Nardos Bridal 2024 wedding dress is a breathtaking, strapless, shantung gown that exudes timeless elegance. Designed with a flattering drop waist, this silhouette beautifully elongates the torso before cascading into a gracefully flowing skirt. Intricate mixed beading adorns the bodice and subtly extends into the skirt, creating a stunning interplay of shimmer and texture. This gown was custom made, beginning from a muslin fitting, from Nardos' Bridal Collection. It is called "Bridal 23." The design was only shown at Nardos' New York City salon, and appeared in her 2024 Spring Bridal Fashion Week show at The Plaza. It is a sweetheart, strapless, A-line gown with a tulle overlay and floral beading at the bodice. The beading is in the front and the back and is all hand-stitched. The fabric is a shantung, which has a nice structure to it. The dress has a long, "cathedral-length" train that measures 8.5".

The dress is fitted through the bust and waist, and flows out nicely into an A-line beginning at the waist into the hips. The dress is not heavy or hot, and was very comfortable to be in all day and night. I wore a light petticoat underneath, that we would be happy to include if requested, that helped keep the structure for photos. There is a built-in French bustle with the ties numbered. The dress has been professionally cleaned with no marks on it. This dress was made to fit my measurements, but there are many seams that could allow it to be easily altered. The hollow to hem measurement is 52". We also have the matching veil that matches the tulle on the overlay. It is a double wide, custom veil with gathered tulle with a raw hem that extends Cathedral-length past the train of the dress (150" in length).
