Beautiful and comfortable dress with pockets! Dry cleaned.
I had several alterations done, including shortening the shoulders (they are always long to start, I'm told), hemming to 5'9", waist taken in a little, under bustle(turned out amazing, looks like a normal skirt with no train), slight neckline change to tiny sweetheart and sleeve change. The dress originally came with puff sleeves, but we removed those and used the material to make the cuffs for removable bishop sleeves. My wedding was in June and the sheer fabric was not hot until it was time to dance, at which point I removed the sleeves.
The skirt is a dream and the whole reason I went to the trouble of getting the dress in the first place. It's a circle skirt with a baby basque waistline that flares out so perfectly when you twirl. Truly the stuff of childhood dress fantasy.
