Ersa Atelier, Aether

This is a truly one-of-a-kind wedding dress fit for a princess. After falling in love with Ersa Atelier's designs, I travelled to Bucharest and worked directly with the Atelier to select this style (Aether) from their catalog. The dress was custom made for me over a period of six months due to the intricacy of the beading. The quality of the fabric, embroidery and beading is unmatched, and despite all of the detail, the dress is not heavy. It features a cathedral length train and an elegant high collar with a modest plunge neckline; the lace neckline edges are held together by an extremely thin layer of tulle to maintain a flattering fit. The waist features a beautiful band of beading that created a slimming effect, and the skirt is double-layered with two separate zippers to prevent the appearance of pulling. The photos don't do the beading and embroidery justice - it is truly phenomenal.

Customizations include full-length sleeves (the catalog style featured 3/4) with button cuffs, and built-in removable padding. A matching veil, produced by Ersa Atelier out of the same tulle fabric as the dress, will be included. The dress is in its original dust bag and in excellent condition, since it was only worn for a little over 2 hours (I had another Ersa dress for the reception).

I am 5' 6.5" and was wearing 85mm heels, so the skirt was trimmed to approximately 5'10" height - the tulle at the bottom of the skirt is not embroidered, so it can easily be trimmed more if necessary. The dress was tailored to my measurements: 32B chest, 27" waist, and 36" hips. It is a size 36 in the designer's sizing, approximately US size 4.
