I felt so insanely beautiful in this dress and I loved that it was a corset and skirt. It's a silk crepe so it has really nice weight and drape while still being super comfy.
I had the corset altered to be flat in the front vs. draped as you'll see it on the halfpenny site - it made it so incredibly flattering. The corset is constructed incredibly well and sucks you right in.
The skirt drapes in the front with a beautiful slit that creates nice walkability/movement, but only opens up when you want it to.
Both pieces were drycleaned and look like new, other than two pin holes on the top of the skirt from the drycleaner but those get hidden under the corset. I changed after the ceremony into another dress so it didn't endure much partying!

- Hemmed slightly in the front - I'm 5'3 and wore 5' heels
