This dress is perfect for petite brides looking for a v-neckline and open back. I loved the fit and flare skirt to have shape while still looking classic. The combination of a bit of modern lace and a crepe skirt was perfect for looking both classic and a tad boho - perfect for an outdoor or barn wedding, but really any location. It is not too revealing, while being very good for shape and showing off certain features. I also picked this dress because it was quite comfortable and lightweight. It wasn't nearly as heavy as other gowns, and the silk lining under the crepe made it soft and comfortable.

This dress has been altered very well, but is smaller than the original size 8 (see my measurements). It is in perfect condition, as I wore it once, barely affected it during the wedding day, and had it immediately dry cleaned. It is currently protected in a plastic dry cleaning bag and a fabric wedding gown garment bag.

Alterations

The main alteration for the dress was bringing the mid-line up to my waist as it was sitting below the waist and looked out of proportion
The straps were also adjusted to fit my shoulders and the change in the waist - the seamstress specialized in wedding gowns, so retained all of the lacing very well
The hips were slightly taken in, and the length was hemmed a few inches because I am fairly short
There is a subtle bustle in the back to keep it from dragging during the day

There's also a nice small strap under the dress so you can carry it easily if you don't want to bustle it
