About the Dress

This is the Rue De Seine dress that stole my heart. River is a form fitting, white, lace bodice with a lightweight printed chiffon subtle yellow print that takes modern boho to a whole new level. I picked this dress out at an event at a bridal shop in San Diego where the designer, Michele Corty, was present. She couldn't say enough good things about it. Her designs are inspired by living in Paris and the effortless style of Saint-Germain-des-Près and its free-spirited residents. I LOVED wearing it on our wedding day in August 2020 (which ended up being a backyard wedding thanks to COVID). I only wore it for a few hours that day so it's pretty much like new. It was very slightly altered to fit my dimensions at the time (which I unfortunately don't have written down/don't remember, apologies!) but I am 5'7" and weighed around 135lbs.

Alterations

-Brought in center back with zipper and lining as pinned, from top through ribcage
-baby hemed 2x linings to floor length all around
-baby hemed outer chiffon layer, front through sides and into back, shortening/rounding out train proportionately; shortened lace with applique
