This dress is a stand-out and dramatic alternative to the typical white dress. Vibrant, royal blue, custom made ballgown-style dress with a super flattering halter-neck collar. Has pockets (crucial) and a detachable train (optional).

The upper bodice has hidden, adjustable bra support and a high neck collar. The bodice features beautiful, intrinsic blind embroidery (same colour as the dress). The lined lower skirt cascades with large rosette ruffles to the floor. There is a detachable 1m train which adds to the drama.

I’m 5’4”, and wore 3” heels. The dress is between UK sizes 10-12. It can easily be adjusted up to a full size 12 or down to a 10 or smaller.

I don’t like showing my cleavage or wearing anything sleeveless so would not have picked this dress style in a million years. But Mags (Mizz Rio designer) suggested I try it and it just blew me away.
