Halfpenny London, Cheryl

I absolutely loved wearing this stunning Cheryl dress from Halfpenny London on my wedding day! This is the Italian silk Cheryl which retails at £3650+.

The silk satin material feels so wonderful. It stays close to your body where you want it to and falls so elegantly in other places. The colour is gorgeous and reflects the light beautifully, it's simple and elegant design is cool and comfortable.

You can alter the dress from day to evening by wrapping the straps around your waist and tying at your lower back, then switch to having it tied round your neck with free tails (saves buying a second dress for the evening!). See photos for examples.

I chose to wear a floor-length veil with subtle crystal detailing which sat nicely and in the middle of my back so you could still see how the dress was tied. The veil length matched the dress colour and suited the dress length too, which has a small puddle. I got the veil from the White Closet in Manchester for £350 and would consider offers to sell and dress together. Happy to send more photos if you message me.

I am 5ft3" and wore 3.5" heels with the dress, I am a UK size 6-8. Bustle can be added to go round your wrist when dancing as seen in photo!

The dress is ivory but could also be described as champagne or cream. The dress is dry cleaned and ready to wear! There are a couple of very small flaws in the fabric at the very bottom of the train from wear. I'm happy to send you photos of these if you're interested in the dress.
