Dress was only worn once, then immediately professionally cleaned and stored for the past 15 years. I just took it out of the box to make the video for the first time since then.
It will not need to be cleaned again -- there is a certificate included, authenticating the preservation, and a discount card to use if you want to clean it again after use. It WILL need to be steamed or ironed--I don't trust myself to do that.
The beaded embroidery bodice is to die for. The skirt is smooth with more beaded embroidery at the bottom. Sturdy spaghetti straps and a delicate low curved neckline.
Beautiful, but not unmanageable train -- I walked down the aisle on my father's arm without anyone holding the train and then had a bridesmaid turn and set the train once I was in place.
The train bustles up for dancing, and I was super comfortable all night and danced the night away!
I'm 5'9 1/2" and the front of the dress was just a tad long for me, but rather than get it hemmed, I just wore 3-inch heels and was fine. If you're shorter than me though, you'll probably want to have it hemmed.
I definitely felt like a fairy princess in this dress with all the beading, but also didn't feel like it was over the top, with a nice, smooth style and no additional ruffles or flounces.
