The Temptress is such a wonderful mix of historic charm and current trends. It features a historically inspired corset, with adraped fitted skirt. There is the option of adding detachable long sleeves, and the dress can be ordered in silk satin (as photographed) or a synthetic satin, for a more affordable price.
The dress is rather decadent, being lined in the same heavy silk satin (or synthetic satin) as is the outer layer of the dress, making for a much more flattering skirt, and a lot less clingy than many other silk satin dresses.
