This is a beautiful designer-made gown with timeless classic lines. Made with gorgeous lustrous Mikado fabric, it is fully lined and was so lightweight and comfortable to wear all day long.

The dress features a hand loop for the train so you can carry it clear from the ground (great for navigating steps and getting into a car) and also has a small loop and silk covered button to pin up the train into a low bustle for dancing and to change the look of the gown. There are silk-covered buttons along the zipper fastening at the back of the gown for a lovely, tailored finish.

For the wedding vows and ceremony, I added an off the shoulder mid-length sleeved eye-lash lace bodice for a more modest look, perfect for a church or cathedral service. Afterwards, I changed out of the bodice and attached the custom-made matching butterfly bow for the post-ceremony cocktails and canapes. All of the guests thought it was a completely different gown, and it made for a totally stunning second entrance and a fun, whimsical touch for the reception.

Alterations

The dress has been altered to fit measurements described - it has some seam allowance and can be taken in or eased out through the hips and the hem/gown length can be adjusted further to suit
Silk covered buttons were added along the length of the back fastening zipper and a button and loop fastening has also been added to pin up the train of the dress into a low bustle for ease of walking around and dancing
Options to add bespoke matching lace bodice and bow for two completely different looks - both items are included
