Anne Barge, Romero

This is a gorgeous, timeless dress. The workmanship is top notch. The dress color is a blush pink, a very subtle hue. Many people actually didn't notice it was pink on the wedding day. It is a ball gown style dress with a trail and a bustle. The dress was made to the Anne Barge size 4 measurements for the Romero dress. They happened to fit me perfectly without any need for customizing the dimensions. The bustle was carefully sewn in by the Anne Barge tailor. It does have quite a bit of fabric and feels somewhat heavy, but because of the way that it fit around my waist, it didn't feel heavy wearing it really at all. It was actually very comfortable. My maid of honor said she had wished she went with a dress more like this. When she got married, she wore a mermaid style dress and felt uncomfortable most of the day.

I absolutely loved everything about wearing this dress. It is almost hard to see it go! But I know that I won't have another occasion to wear it, so it doesn't make sense to keep storing it in my closet when it could debut again for someone else's wedding day. It would be a shame to hide it in a closet!

I wore it for the evening. I had it professionally dry cleaned by a well-known and highly recommended dry cleaner for wedding dresses in my area. I was impressed by how pristinely clean they were able to get it. There are hardly any signs of it ever being worn.

I did not have it boxed. It is hanging in a dress bag. So if anyone local would like to come try it on, they are welcome to.
