This is a mermaid style dress. The lower portion was very full so I had one layer of the under portion removed to make it less full and not as heavy. Then I had the purple sash attached with the flower. This dress was purchased from a bridal boutique in Dallas Texas and when I purchased this dress it was the first dress for the spring that came out in this style for that year.
