There is no seam allowance in the bodice, but there is about 0.75" seam allowance in the hips. Skirt has some slight stretch to it as the lining is made of a stretchy jersey knit fabric under lace and tulle. Dress straps could easily be removed for a strapless elegant look, or off-the-shoulder for a romantic look.
The dress straps come with discreetly sewn-in snaps on the underside around the whole armhole, so that the detachable long sleeves can be snapped on or off.
