Mikado fabric (a heavier, structured silk fabric with a subtle sheen). Has deep pockets but these are subtle (wouldn't know they were there). There is a hook underneath to pin the train up if required for dancing.

The banded neckline is attached to the dress and cannot be removed.

The dress has been dry cleaned but there are still some marks around the bottom of the dress.

Alterations

The dress has been altered in length and waist size
When I originally bought the dress, I was around a UK size 12, on my wedding day I was a UK size 10 but with a waist size closer to an 8
Therefore, the label size won't be relevant
The dress needs to be fitted around the waist because it is strapless, this is what is holding up the weight of the dress
I've added my current measurements that fit the dress
I am 5ft 7" and the length just brushed the floor when I was wearing heels
Both the length and waist size can be altered again if needed without ruining the buttons running down the back
My seamstress also added some bra cups into the structure of the dress to help hold it up, keep the shape and reduce gaping but these can be removed again
