Bottom line up front: I felt beautiful, quietly elegant, and completely comfortable in this dress. It is luxurious feeling while on, moved beautifully, and fits all the curves with ease.
There is wear around the bottom hem of the dress consistent with wearing it for my wedding. It is otherwise still lovely!

Alterations

1) Approximately 3.5 inches was hemmed from the bottom seam of the dress (so that it hit exactly at the floor for me- 5’5” with shoes)
2) Both shoulder straps were taken in approximately 1” to reduce a gap in the chest (I’m usually a 36A/B)
3) I removed the 2 manufacturer straps on either side that help hold the dress on the hanger… they kept poking out during the wedding :)
4) added a single satin button to bustle the train; “American style” bustle is what my seamstress said!
