Emilia Wickstead, Diamond Duchesse Gown

Featured as one of Vogue's top 11 timeless dresses, this Emilia Wickstead Diamond Duchesse gown is a beautiful take on a classic shape for a modern bride. This dress is brand new and has only been tried on.

The gown is deceptively light to wear and has glorious, flowing movement. Crucially, it also has pockets! I bought the last gown from Net-A-Porter before it sold out. In the end, I decided to go with a different style for my wedding but I would love to see it go to a loving home and make a new bride happy. As a result, it is brand new and has only ever been tried on.

The gown is crafted in Italy from white duchesse-satin and features a simple bodice with a sweetheart neckline and boning. The skirt is softly gathered and pleated along the empire waist. The gown is floor-length with an open back and a zipper closure. It features an incredibly flattering waistline, before pleats flow outwards into the fuller skirt.

There is flexibility in the sizing: it would fit a UK 16 (US12) (the sizing on the label), a UK 14 comfortably (US10), and a UK 12 (US 8) with some alterations to cinch the waist to show it off as much as possible.
