Ethereal, Airy & Angelic – Never Worn Wedding Dress

This dress is truly something special — ethereal, airy, and angelic in every way. I purchased it for my 2020 wedding, which sadly didn’t take place due to Covid. As a result, the dress has never been worn and has remained carefully stored in its bridal garment bag since I received it. It's lovingly being stored in it's own spacious closet at my parents house in Iowa. It’s in perfect, pristine condition.

As a NYC shoe designer with a highly curated eye and refined taste, I searched far and wide for the dress — and this one checked every single box. It’s elegant, timeless, unique, and exquisitely romantic. It's the only dress I tried on that was so stunning yet so effortless and comfortable. The second you put it on, it just feels like second skin. This is a dress you can gracefully move (more likely float) for the entire day into night on the most special event of your life.

The gown was custom-made to my size 10 measurements (please refer to the Lovely Bridal receipt image for all measurement details). To elevate the wearability while maintaining its delicate aesthetic, I had an additional lightweight lining layer added to the skirt, as the original sample was a bit sheer.

Made of soft lace and whisper-light layers, this gown is not only stunning but also easy to travel with — ideal for a destination wedding. My wedding would have been in Lake Como, Italy and I was especially happy that it would travel well and not need any extra attention after the journey to make it wedding day ready.

I have been holding off listing this dress, as I have dreamt of wearing it someday. Since I have lost a significant amount of weight, it would no longer fit me, so finally I am ready to pass its beauty onwards.
