Custom Gown, Custom Made

This is the most beautiful Custom gown I had made for my ceremony dress

-Long sleeve with a bell cuff
-Open back with a herringbone beaded stabiliser
-Silk buttons
-Two types of lace applique, cross-hatched beading and hand placed floral lace applice applique
-Herringbone beading along centre front for symmetry, as well as cuffs, trims
-It is a mix of a sheath dress fused with slight fit and flare skirt to just show off some shape without taking away from the incredible bead work
-There is boning in the bodice but no padded cups, as I decided last minute I didnt want these. You could have them added but the tulle layers provide enough coverage
-Lining has four layers of tulle
-Paid $7,500
-I am a size AU 6-8

I only wore this dress for 2 hours before I got changed. It was very comfortable and I could move easily in this (however I had two other dresses to change into and a short timeline)
It was a true labour of love creating this gown & was everything I dreamt of and more
It took months to source this hand-beaded fabric, the nature of tiny beading is that it is prone to a tiny bit of beading loss. As was the case during fittings and on the day, this is common on beaded gowns, the cross-hatch design supports this well as there are natural breaks in the pattern. There are no significant losses but something to keep in mind if you are looking for a hand-beaded gown so you are not surprised if you notice some tiny beads on the floor etc.
