Stunning simplicity! I bought dress in 1989 for $1500 at the Anita Pagliaro boutique on Lexington Ave in NYC. It is a two piece with a lace top and silk skirt, but it looks like a single dress. The lace top zips shut but has small buttons and a detachable lace bow. The skirt is full but not dramatically puffed out--an underskirt provides minimal structure. The sleeves have a sweet puff--not overly dramatic. The dress is very comfortable. I had it professionally cleaned and boxed for about 35 years. The skirt is not shiny but has a rich silk lustre. My marriage is still strong-- this gorgeous dress set the path. Dress size is 6-8. I was 5'11 inches and about 140-145 pounds. I wore one-inch heels.
