I bought the dress and never got a chance to wear it. So it's never been altered. It's still as I first bought it. It has seven layers to fluff up the bottom, and ties underneath to bustle the train. It has a built in corset, and lace up back as you can see per picture. There is no need for a bra with the dress as well as it has built in structure. It's an extremely beautiful dress that just no longer fits me. I'd love for someone to give it the day it deserves along with it's buyer.
