I wore this dress for my wedding in 2007 (still happily married!). I am 5'7" and wore slippers with no heel, so if you are shorter, this would work well with heeled shoes because the lace layer would probably not be easy to alter.
There is a small layer of tulle between the two skirt layers that are under the lace layer.
I had it dry cleaned last month and it looks brand new. I'm happy to provide additional photos from my wedding day and any other info you might need to decide if it is right for you.

I was pretty thin then (5'7" and approx
120-125 lbs)
I tried taking measurements of the dress now and it is altered to somewhere around 31.5" in the bust and 27.5" at the waist, but these estimates could be slightly off
